Responsible gambling

Gambling as entertainment

We want gambling to remain a recreational activity. It is not a way to earn a living or solve money problems. Every session involves financial risk, and losing money is always possible. A decision to play should leave room for that outcome without putting essential spending under pressure.

We encourage you to keep control of the time and money you spend with us. Gambling can harm personal wellbeing, finances and family relationships when it becomes difficult to manage. If your play is causing concern, we encourage you to seek help and take a break.

Boundaries for play

Decide on a spending budget and a time boundary before beginning a session. Use only money you can afford to lose. Monitor both as you play, and avoid extending a session to recover what has already been lost. Chasing losses can turn an intended leisure activity into a growing financial problem.

Take breaks and keep other interests and responsibilities in your routine. We advise against gambling after drinking alcohol or when you are upset or depressed. Playing to escape difficult feelings can make it harder to recognise when gambling is becoming harmful.

Review the history and transaction records available in your account dashboard. These records help you assess your activity over time. Our support team can discuss account settings with you if you need help managing access to play.

Signs that gambling is causing harm

Spending beyond your means or playing longer than you can afford can indicate a problem. So can neglecting work, study or family commitments because of gambling. Concealing how much you play or lying about losses may be another sign that your behaviour has changed.

Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund play deserves attention. Continuing in the hope of winning back losses, feeling guilty after gambling, or becoming restless and irritable when trying to stop also suggest that gambling is becoming harmful. Gambling to relieve anxiety or depression can be part of the same pattern.

If you recognise these behaviours in yourself, we encourage you to seek support promptly. If you are worried about someone close to you, talk to them directly and encourage them to get help.

Cooling off and self-exclusion

You can request a temporary or permanent lock on your gaming account. Our minimum break options include a 24-hour cooling-off period and self-exclusion lasting one month or six months. Contact our support team through live chat or email to arrange exclusion or discuss the settings. We provide support around the clock.

During exclusion, your account is inaccessible and you cannot add funds or gamble through it. Once the chosen period starts, it cannot be reversed before that period has ended. Your account stays closed afterwards unless you contact support and request reactivation.

Do not open replacement accounts or use different credentials to bypass exclusion. Attempts to do so may result in permanent closure. We take reasonable measures to prevent new accounts during a break, and you must also respect the restriction you have requested.

Marketing and account monitoring

We remove players who self-exclude for responsible gambling reasons from promotional mailing lists. We also take reasonable steps to prevent promotional material from reaching them during exclusion. A gambling break should not be undermined by invitations to return to play.

You can opt out of marketing through your account settings or our support team without requesting exclusion. This choice concerns promotional communications.

Where we identify play patterns that suggest a problem, we may contact you. We can also impose additional restrictions or require a cooling-off period. Our staff receive training in recognising harmful gambling behaviour and responding appropriately to players who may need support.

Age requirements and protecting children

Our casino is for adults aged at least 18, with a higher minimum where local law requires it. Provide accurate age and identity information when registering. We can request evidence of age or identity at any point.

If we identify an underage player, we close the account and cancel winnings. Where possible, we return deposits through the method originally used. We encourage parents and guardians to monitor children's access to gambling and use parental controls or other protective measures.

Support beyond your account

Gambling Therapy provides emotional support, advice and counselling in several languages. The Responsible Gambling Council offers information on prevention and responsible play. Gamblers Anonymous brings together people sharing their experiences of gambling problems and recovery.

GamCare offers free advice, information and support for people affected by gambling in the UK. BeGambleAware provides independent information and assistance relating to gambling harm. We encourage anyone concerned about their own play or another person's gambling to seek help from these organisations.

Getting help

Can a relative request exclusion for me? We take concerns from people close to you seriously, but privacy requirements mean the request must come from you as the account holder.
